How to Cook Sausage

Kiolbassa Smoked Sausage is slow-crafted® the old-fashioned way, using only the finest cuts of meats and freshest spices. You’ve come to the right place to learn how to cook authentic smoked sausage on the grill, in a pan or in the oven. You’ll want to take your time enjoying them, because we took our time making them!

  • Prepare your grill, either gas or charcoal, as you normally would. Not too hot!
  • Place your sausage on the grill, but not directly over the fire, to prevent flare-ups.
  • Grill for 6 to 10 minutes, turning them occasionally to make sure they’re grilled evenly and cooked through.
  • Your sausages are ready to come off the grill when the skin is slightly blistered.
  • And that’s it! Your Kiolbassa Smoked Sausages are ready to serve – plump, juicy, and always delicious!
  • Heat oven to 350º F.
  • Spray a baking sheet lightly with nonstick spray (not too much!) and place your sausages on a baking sheet. Then slide the baking sheet into the oven.
  • Bake the sausages for about 25 minutes. You will know they are cooked through and ready when they appear slightly darker with puckered, wrinkled skin.
  • Your plump Kiolbassa Smoked Sausages are now ready to serve. Enjoy!  (But don’t rush…savor every bite!)
  • Prepare sausages for frying either as whole links, or slice them on the bias, about a half inch thick.
  • Preheat your skillet over medium heat with 1/2 cup of water.
  • Add the sausage to the pan. Careful, it’s hot!
  • Cover and let sausages simmer for 5 to 6 minutes before flipping them.
  • Cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, until slightly darkened and plump to make sure they’re cooked through.
  • Voila’! Your slow-crafted® Kiolbassa Smoked Sausages are now ready to serve…and devour!
