Through our two community-driven initiatives: Bobby’s Legacy and Links of Love, we continue to make a difference, ensuring that our legacy is one of generosity, support, and shared success.

Bobby Kiolbassa
Robert Alfred (Bobby) Kiolbassa was the son of Kiolbassa’s founders, Rufus and Juanita Kiolbassa. When Bobby was in college, his father became very ill. Just shy of graduation, Bobby left college to lead the family business. He continued to lead the company until his death in 2021. Bobby had a heart of gold and was always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. We honor his legacy through a special program for non-profit organizations and fundraising events. We call it “Bobby’s Legacy.”
How it works:
Kiolbassa will donate one 10 lb. box of Traditional polish-style sausage, for every two boxes purchased. Each box contains approximately 50 links.
You are eligible to participate in this program if you are:
- Hosting a charitable event or non-profit fundraiser
- Military
- First Responders
- School
- Church
This donation requires local pickup at our Company Store in San Antonio, Texas. You must provide proof of your event (i.e. flyer). If you need more than 6 boxes, we recommend placing your order as soon as possible at (210) 226-8127 or by email to info@kiolbassa.com.

OUR STORY
As a young man, our founder, Rufus Kiolbassa, was a meat salesman during World War II. Meat was scarce and Rufus was often brought to tears having to make the painful decision about who would receive the meat rations that he had available. This experience stuck with Rufus when he opened Kiolbassa Smoked Meats in 1949. His compassion for his fellow man lives on through our company’s purpose to enrich lives.
This tradition has continued for 75 years

Links of Love
A Special Program aimed at feeding people in need
Through the Links of Love program, we carry on Rufus Kiolbassa’s commitment to feed those in need by donating sausage each month to fight food insecurity, respond to disasters, and beginning in 2024, we also supply protein to our military and first responders.
Community Enrichment
Links of Love
As our world faces major challenges, Kiolbassa has developed the Links of Love program to support people during their time of greatest need. We have created a special all-pork dinner sausage that is fully cooked, easy to prepare and most importantly, delicious!
Because we produce high-quality protein products, our Links of Love program was developed in 2020 to help nourish those experiencing food insecurity and natural disasters. As part of our 75th anniversary, we have revamped our program to also include military and first responders.
