Skillet: – Lay the bacon flat on the skillet. Turn the heat on medium. Cook 6-8 minutes, turn the strips and cook the other side. The bacon will continue to cook after you remove it from the pan so only cook until it is almost the way you like it, then move to a paper towel lined plate to cool a bit before eating. If you plan on cooking more bacon, drain the grease from the skillet and then add the remaining bacon to the already hot pan.
Oven: Preheat oven to 375°. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Lay the strips of bacon close together but not touching on the baking sheet. Cook 15 minutes then remove from oven if you like your bacon chewy. If you prefer crispy bacon, allow it to cook an additional 5-8 minutes. The bacon will continue to cook after being removed from the oven, so cook it until it is almost the way you prefer it. Remove the cooked bacon from the baking sheet and place on a paper towel lined plate to cool a bit before eating.
