  • 13 oz. Kiolbassa All Natural Jalapeño Sausage
  • sliced
  • 1 cup sliced Kiolbassa Dry Cured Original Bacon
  • 1 bottle Alamo Beer
  • Golden Ale
  • 2 cups pinto beans
  • 1 ½ cups onion
  • chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • seeded & chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • drained
  • 2 T. fresh cilantro
  • finely chopped
  • 2 T. minced garlic

Directions

  • Soak pinto beans in water overnight. Rinse and add soaked beans to dutch oven. ,Add 6-8 cups of hot water and bring the beans to a rapid boil. Boil for 2 minutes then remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 1 hour. Drain and rinse beans
  • Sauté sliced sausage, bacon, onions, jalapeño peppers, cilantro and garlic until onions are translucent
  • Add diced tomatoes and beans to dutch oven with 5 cups of hot water plus 1 T. salt. Cook beans over medium-low heat with lid for 1 ½ hours. Stirring occasionally
  • Add beer, cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes or until beans are tender
  • Pair with your favorite corn bread and dig in!
