- 13 oz. Kiolbassa All Natural Jalapeño Sausage
- sliced
- 1 cup sliced Kiolbassa Dry Cured Original Bacon
- 1 bottle Alamo Beer
- Golden Ale
- 2 cups pinto beans
- 1 ½ cups onion
- chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- seeded & chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- drained
- 2 T. fresh cilantro
- finely chopped
- 2 T. minced garlic

- Soak pinto beans in water overnight. Rinse and add soaked beans to dutch oven. ,Add 6-8 cups of hot water and bring the beans to a rapid boil. Boil for 2 minutes then remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 1 hour. Drain and rinse beans
- Sauté sliced sausage, bacon, onions, jalapeño peppers, cilantro and garlic until onions are translucent
- Add diced tomatoes and beans to dutch oven with 5 cups of hot water plus 1 T. salt. Cook beans over medium-low heat with lid for 1 ½ hours. Stirring occasionally
- Add beer, cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes or until beans are tender
- Pair with your favorite corn bread and dig in!
